Increasing page size - how to preserve diagrams?

I have 8 pages of closely-packed shapes (cross-functional flowcharts).
I'm changing these from A4 to A3. I then want to Select All and move
my diagram on the page. However, when I do this, it scrambles the
shapes - moves swimlanes, lengthens connectors, lengthens shapes.

Is there any way to avoid this?

It seems that this group is not very active.

From further searching of Visio groups, I find that Visio tends to
scramble diagrams in many different situations.

I found that grouping shapes was some help in preventing the
scrambling when I moved the entire diagram on the page. However, Visio
only allows grouping within swimlanes.

Ultimately, I found I had to reconstruct my diagrams on an empty page.
