When trying to use the Format Painter tool in Vision 2007, I get the
following error: "An error (1) occurred during the action Format Painter.
Unexpected end of file". It does not happen for all objects, but for all
Connectors (US units), Icon Sets, and some others.

Thanks,
Alex

Do you have any additional information regarding the shapes that you get this
message with? Are these shapes included with Visio or are they from another
provider? That particular error message with Visio’s format painter came up
once when a person had some type of add-on for Visio but it happen for all
shapes not just certain types. Do you have any add-ons installed if so what
happens if you disable them?
