I am using Visio 2003 Standard on XP OS SP3.

I created a stencil many shapes on it. For testing, I have name each of
the shapes Master.0, Master.1, Master.2, etc.

I on tool bar, I have configured the Shape Search to on my computer with
only the And condition.

I next open my visio drawing with the stencil1.vss open with it. In
testing the shape search, I enter the shape Master.2 in the search box, and
it comes back with nothing found.

I also tried in the Edit > Find, and it doesn't work for me.

All I want is to give the Shape name and find it in my Stencil.

Can someone please help me !!!

Thank You,

G

When I try searching for Master.1, it was not able to find it !!!

Can someone please help !!!

Gary I don’t think you are doing anything wrong I tested the suggested
workaround with Visio 2003 and 2007 and search does not find the master as
the article specifies, it does work with Visio 2010 however.
